Originally a chalk quarry pit, this site in Dartford has been filled with inert material. 775 dwellings will now be provided on the land, including a mix of private, build to rent and affordable. The scheme is being split into three phases, with each subject to a separate planning application. The homes will be delivered between 2023 and 2026, with the development known as Knights Reach. Apartments form a large part of the development, with several uniquely designed apartment blocks that offer also retail and healthcare on the ground floors. The build to rent apartments will feature a concierge style reception to provide access control. Two major parks are being provided on the site, including new playground and village green.
