Shortlisted for a Building  Better  Healthcare design  award, this  state-of-the-art  ambulance  station - a Make Ready Centre and Hazardous  Area Response Team Unit - has set the standards for a major review of ambulance provision. The new building is designed to BREEAM Excellent standard and provides cleaning and workshop facilities together with offices and ancillary accommodation in a bespoke purpose designed  environment. Externally, the site includes fuel storage facility, general car parking and charging spaces for ready vehicles.
