Public consultation on new Ramsgate medical facilities takes place

Last weekend, we spent time engaging the local Ramsgate community on the plans for the relocation of The Grange Practice to a new location at Westwood Cross. The GP surgery, currently based at Dumpton Park Drive, is no longer big enough, nor offers the facilities, for the community it now serves.

The move will provide the staff and patients with new purpose-built premises that can offer a wider range of primary care services. The medical centre will form part of a larger development that also features care and extra care facilities and retirement homes.

Detailed planning is due to be submitted later in the year and will take into account the feedback received at the consultation last week.
